Before I started my first job as a programmer, I had gained knowledge on various courses for over a year. I felt the need to translate my skills into practice and that is why I decided to join the SPOC Academy. Although learning about the structure of the ServiceNow platform seemed difficult to understand at first, thanks to the help of the instructors, it was easy to get what's what. And what is important to me, after the end of the Academy, I immediately entered the internal project, what let me smoothly start working on real tasks.
I’m a paramedic by profession, and this career path even led me to work at the Blood Donation Center. However, I wanted to keep growing and follow my interests, so I signed up for a bootcamp. Shortly after, I joined SPOC, and it’s now been 7 years since then. Combining work with passion, along with the satisfaction it brings, motivated me to recently complete my engineering degree in Computer Science, specializing in "Business Application Programming.
I found myself in the world of ServiceNow completely by accident. What convinced me to join SPOC was the standardized approach to project management, the logical SDLC process, and the PMO treating knowledge sharing as a value. Over time, it turned out that the projects carried out here began to engage me more and more, I feel that I am growing with them, and additionally, the project teams are full of people I genuinely enjoy working with. And just like that, five years have already passed here.
Participating in various charity actions has almost become a permanent part of SPOC's culture. For instance, we regularly support the Palium Hospice in Poznań, collect dog food for the Azyl Psia Przystań animal shelter, donate blood, become bone marrow donors, plant oak trees, and support a bee apiary by planting honey-bearing lindens nearby. Quite a lot, right? And that's not even everything!
